UTA Italy give donations for medical help in Africa

The IRCCS structure Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza Opera di San PIO DI PIETRALCINA DI SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO, represented by its Director General, Dr. Michele Giuliani, announced that it has donated to the humanitarian organization United Towns Agency, Ecosoc (UN), sanitary equipment, including ultrasound, furniture and fiber optics.


The donation will go to Nigeria's Yobe State Univerdity Teaching Damaturu hospital, where Princess Abigail Amalaha will organize the distribution of equipment at the headquarters of the United Towns Agency Nigeria. The president of the organization in Italy, Rossana Rodà, explained that the UN deals with cooperation and development in various states, promoting the rights of women and children.  Furthermore, Rodà underlined that Italy, a member of the United Nations, has always made a significant contribution to the forefront of ethical and socio-humanitarian issues.


The international organization represented by President Rodà in Italy and by the Committee in Geneva has been working for years to build schools and train young people and women and promote the rights of the weakest, in collaboration with governments.The donation of the IRCCS structure Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza Opera di San PIO DI PIETRALCINA OF SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO represents a further Italian contribution to international cooperation and the promotion of human rights.
